Find GST owner mobile number searches have a useful shortcut when the business is a sole proprietorship. In that case the legal name on the GST record is not a company name at all; it is the owner’s own name, exactly as it appears on their PAN. You already know who the owner is. What remains is narrowing a common personal name down to one person in one locality, and finding the mobile they use for the business.
This guide shows how to read the owner’s name from the record, how to combine it with the locality to search effectively, and how to confirm you have reached the right person without being intrusive.
Open the public taxpayer search for the GSTIN. If the constitution of business says proprietorship, the legal name field is the proprietor’s name, often in full with a father’s or family name included, because it is copied from the PAN. The trade name, if any, is the shop or brand.
Note how the name is written. PAN names can include initials in a different order from how the person introduces themselves, so search a few common arrangements.

Personal names repeat thousands of times across a state. The address on the registration is what makes the search work: the street, the area and the pincode. A name plus a street is usually unique; a name plus a city is not. Use the most specific part of the address you have.
Many small proprietors, especially service providers, traders working from home and online sellers, register their residence as the principal place of business. The address may read like a house number in a residential colony rather than a market. That tells you not to look for a signboard, and to be particularly careful: you are dealing with someone’s home.
Shop owners, by contrast, usually give the shop address, and the shop’s board or listing may carry the mobile.

Search the owner’s name with the trade name and area. Local listings, professional profiles and trade association pages often show the owner’s name next to a mobile. If the trade name is blank, search the owner’s name with the street and the business activity, for example “hardware” or “tailoring”, from the GST record.
In a market, neighbouring shopkeepers usually know each other’s owners by name and will tell you whether the person still runs the shop. The local traders’ association may confirm membership. These checks also catch cases where the owner has handed the shop to a relative while the registration stays in the original name.

When you reach someone, ask for the owner by the name you found and mention the trade name and locality. Ask them to confirm the GSTIN if you need it for invoicing. Do not read out their PAN or other personal details; you only need enough to be sure you have the right business.

A proprietor’s mobile is a personal number that happens to be used for the business. Do not add it to marketing lists without consent, do not call late, and do not visit a residential address unannounced. If the owner prefers that you deal with a staff member or use email, respect that and note it in your records.
If nothing turns up, write a short letter to the address on the registration with your contact details and purpose, or ask your mutual contacts in the trade. An owner who is reachable only by post may simply be very small or not looking for new business; that is their choice.

Read the legal name, which is the owner’s own name, and search it together with the street or pincode and trade name from the GST record, then confirm locally or by a short call.
A proprietorship is not a separate entity, so the registration is in the owner’s PAN name.
Many proprietors register their home. Search online and use calls or letters rather than visiting unannounced.
The person should recognise the trade name, and the locality and activity should match the GST record.
Not without consent. Use it for genuine business with that firm.
The registration may still be in the old owner’s name; ask who now runs the business and whether a new registration exists.
