Give us a GSTIN or a whole spreadsheet of them. We return the registered business name, address, status and a working phone number – checked against current records, not a scraped dump from three years ago.

No portal to learn and no integration work. Send a file, get a file.
Paste a single number or upload a CSV with thousands. We accept whatever column order your sheet already uses.
Each GSTIN is checked against current registration records for name, address, status and contact fields.
Numbers are screened for format, reachability and obvious staleness before anything is handed over.
A CSV or Excel file with the contact fields appended to your original rows, plus a match-rate summary.
One row per GST number. Phone and email depend on what is actually on record – we mark blanks rather than inventing a number to pad the file.
| Field | Description | Availability |
|---|---|---|
| GSTIN | 15-character registration number | Always |
| Legal / trade name | Name as filed with the GST authority | Always |
| Registration status | Active, cancelled or suspended | Always |
| State & state code | Derived from the first two digits | Always |
| Principal place of business | Registered address with PIN code | Always |
| Phone number | Primary reachable business number | Where available |
| Email address | Business email on record | Where available |
| Constitution of business | Pvt Ltd, LLP, proprietorship and so on | Always |
| Registration date | Date GST registration took effect | Always |
| Taxpayer type | Regular, composition or casual | Always |
The GSTIN is checked for correct 15-character format and a valid check digit. A number that fails its own checksum cannot be a real registration, so it never reaches the billable stage.
The registration is resolved to active, cancelled or suspended, with the effective date. A cancelled counterparty is often the single most valuable row in the file.
Phone numbers are screened for valid format, correct series and obvious staleness. Anything that fails is returned blank rather than shipped to pad the count.
You are billed on matched rows only – invalid and unmatched rows never appear on the invoice.
Before you look for a contact behind a GSTIN, it helps to know what the number itself means, why it should be checked, and where the public record stops.
A GSTIN, or Goods and Services Tax Identification Number, is the 15-character registration number given to every business registered under GST. It appears on every tax invoice, e-way bill and return, and it ties each transaction to one taxpayer in one state.
GSTN is the network that runs the GST system; GSTIN is the number it issues. When people search for a “GSTN number”, they mean the GSTIN. Because it is built on the PAN, one business can hold a separate GSTIN in every state it operates from, all sharing the same PAN in characters 3 to 12.

Credit on a purchase holds only when the supplier’s registration is genuine and active on the invoice date.
A wrong buyer GSTIN breaks e-invoices and returns on both sides and forces corrections later.
Borrowed, cancelled or invented numbers are caught in seconds, before any payment goes out.
15 characters, a valid state code, the PAN in the middle and Z in position 14.
Use the taxpayer search on the official GST portal and enter the GSTIN with the captcha.
Compare legal name, trade name, address and taxpayer type with the invoice.
Proceed only on an active registration; pause on suspended, stop on cancelled.
A GSTIN search confirms the registration: names, address, constitution, taxpayer type and status. It does not show the owner’s phone number or email. That is the gap we fill – a reachable business contact matched back to the same GSTIN and legal name.
Row count is the easiest number to inflate and the least useful one to buy on. Here is what actually differs.
| GST-sourced data | Scraped list | Paid directory | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Where the record comes from | A live GST registration filing | Pages scraped off directories | A directory listing someone paid for |
| Tells you if the business still trades | Yes – registration status and date | No | No |
| Legal name matches the invoice | Yes, as filed | Often a trading name only | Usually a brand name |
| Address is the registered premises | Yes, with PIN | Whatever the page showed | Marketing address |
| Blank fields left blank | Yes | Padded to inflate row count | Padded |
| You can check it before buying | Yes – sample format on your own GSTINs | Rarely | Rarely |
Anyone can dump a list off a public page. We check each record against current registration data and screen the numbers before delivery.
If a registration has no usable phone number we leave the field empty. Padding a file with invented numbers wastes your callers’ time and your money.
Send a handful of GSTINs and we return the real output for those rows. Judge the data, then decide.
Pay for the records you need. No seat licences, no annual lock-in and no minimum commitment to get started.
Filter by state code, city, industry, taxpayer type or registration date so your team works one clean territory at a time.
Every delivery carries usage terms, and we will not supply data for spam, impersonation or any use that breaches telecom rules.
Build a call list of GST-registered businesses in the exact state, city or sector you sell into.
Confirm a vendor is genuinely registered and reachable before you release a purchase order.
Match invoices to an active registration and flag counterparties whose GSTIN has been cancelled.
Reach a business that has moved or stopped answering the number on its last invoice.
Size a market by state code before you commit budget or hire a field team for the region.
Pull registered name, address and status as part of a vendor onboarding file.
The first two digits of any GSTIN are its state code. That makes state the cleanest way to cut a contact file into territories your team can actually work.
Need a single state, a cluster of districts or a national file? Tell us the territory and we will scope it.
A broad GST pull is mostly noise for a specialist seller. Narrow it by sector and every call lands with somebody who buys what you make.
Sector not listed? Describe the business type and we will tell you what coverage looks like.
Unit cost falls as volume rises, and rows that come back empty are never billed. Tell us the shape of the job and you get a written quote.

Send us five GST numbers from your own list. We will return the exact output you would get in a paid file, so you can judge the match rate yourself.
The questions we get asked before almost every first order.
Yes, in most cases. A GST registration is filed with contact details attached to it, and a large share of active registrations carry a working business phone number. We match your GSTIN against current registration records and return the number on file. Where a registration genuinely has no usable number, we mark the row blank rather than guessing.
GST registration details are business records, not personal ones, and using them to contact a company about a business matter is normal commercial practice. What matters is how you use them: honour do-not-call registrations, follow TRAI and DLT rules for calls and SMS, identify yourself properly and stop contacting anyone who asks you to. We supply data for legitimate business use only.
Registration status, name and address come from current records. Phone numbers are the ones attached to the registration, and businesses do change numbers without updating their filing, so no provider can honestly claim 100%. We re-check records before delivery and tell you the match rate for your specific file before you pay.
That is the normal way our customers work. Send a CSV or Excel file with a GSTIN column and we return the same file with the contact fields appended, so nothing in your existing sheet gets rearranged. We confirm the delivery window with you before the job starts.
You still get the row, flagged as cancelled or suspended along with the date. That is often the most useful part of the result – it tells your finance team to stop claiming input credit against that counterparty and tells your sales team to stop chasing a dead account.
No. You can buy a one-off file sized to what you actually need. Subscriptions exist for teams that pull data continuously, but nothing about the service requires one.
Yes, and most customers should. A national file is rarely the right first purchase – a single state or a single sector is cheaper, lands faster and tells you whether the data converts before you scale the spend.
For one number, it is not – the official portal costs nothing and you should use it. The difference is scale. Checking fifty thousand numbers by hand is weeks of work, and the portal will not hand you a filtered territory list you never had the GSTINs for in the first place.
Where an email is on the registration record, yes, and it is returned in the same row. Email coverage is lower than phone coverage, so treat it as a bonus field rather than the reason to buy.
It is processed for your order and nothing else. We do not merge your list into a product we sell to somebody else, and uploaded files are deleted once the job is delivered unless you ask us to keep them for a recurring run.
Yes. A registered business must print its GSTIN on every tax invoice and bill of supply, and quote the buyer’s GSTIN on business-to-business invoices. The registration certificate also has to be displayed at each place of business.
Yes. A business needs a separate GSTIN in each state or union territory it supplies from, and can hold more than one in the same state for separate business verticals. All of them carry the same PAN in characters 3 to 12.
Search the GSTIN on the official GST portal and read the status line. Active means the registration is valid; suspended or cancelled means you should not rely on new invoices from that number. Our files report the same status, with the effective date, for every row.
Yes. A GSTIN search shows the principal place of business and any additional places registered under that number. It does not show the owner’s phone number or email – that is what our matched contact file adds.
We help sales, procurement and compliance teams turn a GST registration number into a verified, reachable business contact.
Send us a few GSTINs and we will return the matching contact fields so you can judge the data before you buy.
